NOTE: ALL PAYMENT MUST BE RECEIVED BY THE CLOSING DATE. ANY PAYMENT ON THE SHOW DAY WILL BE IMPOSED A PENALTY OF RM30.00 PER ENTRY.

 

IMPORT/EXPORT PERMIT FOR FOREIGN EXHIBITORS

All foreign entries maybe EXEMPTED from quarantine policy imposed by Malaysia Department of Veterinary Services (DVS).

All foreign (inclusive of Sabah/Sarawak) entries must be submitted together with full vaccination record which shall include rabies shot and microchip number before the closing date for our further action to apply for the import/export permit. The fee per cat for the import/export permit and quarantine exemption will be RM 80.00

For any entries from the country that require Health Certificate upon returning back from Malaysia will have to notify us - so that we can make necessary arrangement with the vet to issue the Health Cert. The fee per cat for this service will be RM100.

SHOW RULES & SCORING

·         The show will be held in accordance with CFA show rules, which will be strictly enforced. Failure to do so will be subject to disciplinary action.

·         All registered entries will be scored for CFA Regional and National Awards.

General Information
• All claws of entries must be clipped prior to entering the show hall.
• Under Household Pets category, all cats above 8 months must be desexed (neutered/spayed).
• Please bring your own litter & litter pan, food and water dishes for your cat(s).
• All entries are expected to be free from fleas/fungus and should have been vaccinated by a licensed veterinarian against feline enteritis, feline  rhinotracheitis and calici viruses prior to entry.
• Smoking is PROHIBITED in the show hall.

 

FELINE AGILITY

·         Cats and kittens, CFA registered, CFA registerable or Household Pets, 4 months of age or older, are eligible for entry in Feline Agility Competition.

·         Feline Agility Competition is limited to 30 entries only (first come first serve basis).

·         All cats entered in Feline Agility Competition are subject to veterinarian inspection prior to entering the show hall.

·         All entries are expected to be free from fleas/fungus and should have been vaccinated by a licensed veterinarian against feline enteritis, feline rhinotracheitis and calici viruses prior to entry.

 

BENCHING AND BENCHING REQUESTS

Benching

• Cage sizes: 21" x 22" x 22" for single cage; 21" x 22" x 45" for double cage.

• Only those cats/kittens entered or invited or approved by the Show Committee will be permitted in the show hall. Kittens below than 4 month are not allowed to enter the show hall.   

• All cats/kittens entered or present in the show hall shall be inoculated before entry, by a licensed veterinarian, against feline enteritis, feline rhinotracheitis and calici viruses. Vaccination record must be produced during check-in for veterinarian inspection.

• ALL claws on each entry must be clipped prior to benching. Only cats which appear healthy, without evidence of fleas, ear mites, or any contagious or infectious illness, are eligible for admission into the show room. It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to refrain from bringing an unhealthy cat or kitten into the show hall. Failure to observe this rule will be grounds for disciplinary action.

Benching Requests

• You may request to be benched next to ONLY one other exhibitor BUT SUBJECT TO show committee’s discretion.

• If you specify an agent, that will be your ONLY benching request.

• Handicapped benching requests will be accommodated whenever possible, at no extra charge to the exhibitor.
